Hey what do you know... I'm still alive. Though that argument is hinged on the illusion that I in fact have a life. I feel so strange this year. I am constantly bored, but never have enough time. All my free time is dedicated to projects, yet I am always slacking off. I'm currently avoiding a math project by typing this up at 5 am.
If you would like to see an example of what I've been up to click here Not the highest quality, but I had to make it a certain size, and shoot in a certain amount of time. I also made the flash file and the html, though theres nothing really fancy there. Everyone got a real kick out of the movie. It was fun, but it was a result of my imagination running wild as filming began.

Forbes Magazine has gone insane, rating Cincinnati #1 in Nightlife. To which I said, "Where?! The early bird special at 20 mile stand does not count as nightlife!" We beat NYC Nawlins Vegas Miami LA Frisco Chicago
HOW?! Did they just count Waffle Houses, Steak n shakes, Dennys and 24 hr supermarkets? Cause thats all there is here. Forbes is now the new Cracked! Magazine PS. Salt Lake City also beat several of the aboveFeeling: shocked

For those of you cataloging my shirts I have complied a list (Currently incomplete) I will edit this when the basket of laundry the spider crawled into has been sent through the wash again. Its either squished into the clothes or plotting revenge, either way it needs soap and warm water. There are a few shirts still being used for box cushioning too Also be aware this is not a direct quote in all cases
( 2 spiders died to bring you this information, actually I killed them while cleaning )
So far thats almost 70 black or navy blue shirts. And you thought my closet was a black hole because nothing that goes in ever comes out.

So yeah, busy. I havent checked anyones pages in about 3-4 weeks. I have school 6 days a week Work 5. No days totally off. Free time (about 3 hours a day) is spent studying and and talking to people on AIM. Fortunately Physics is half over so in 2 weeks I can actually get more than a few hours of sleep.
Hung out with Sean on Saturday, lot of changes in the 2 years since we've really hung out, but not much is different. R.I.P. Ceaser I'll miss your snoring even when you were awake. We spent most the day watching movies, then went to Biggs at about midnight for drinks, and I got a 5 liter keg.....of Cream Soda! It was too awesome to pass up. It was also the second (and third) time I've smoked my hookah since I've been home.
on a freudian note, I decided one of the sexier things I've see is a girl walking with a knife in sheath prominently on her belt. Hows that for phallic symbols?
I am ragged with all this crap to do, but I still want to hang out. Cincy folk if you are free Fridays or saturdays let me know. Now off to shower, shave, get changed for work, email the Bradley Registrar, make a doctors appointment in a limited availble time frame, deposit paycheck, pay bills, etc etc etc. Hopefully I'll see some of you around soon.Feeling: rushed

So I was watching the news, and they were at capitol hill talking about the proposed gay marriage ban and they had a black woman on and she said "80% of black people are in favor of protecting marriage, we know about not having a father in the home with a wife and loving the kids" One you must either admit thats its statistic or a stereotype, dont get mad if Carlos Mencia makes a joke about no dads or Bill Cosby calls you on it
Two, Fuck you, I really doubt your baby daddy is ignoring you and his two other baby mommas because he's bumpin n grinding on his homies. Fuck you fuck you and fuck you up the ass and see if its really as sinful as you think. I still have yet to hear a legitimate uncontrived reasoning behind this "marriage is sacred" bullshit that would supplant seperation of church and state, other than "we want it".
God bless America land of equal rights unless you are different. Just more of the trickle down on the Constitution theory of Bushenomics. As an added bonus in a rare moment of political honesty pretty much everyone but the president has admitted its a political ploy to give the Republican ultraconservative Christian righters more fuel to fan their hot air machines so they can feel more self righteous and convince the uneducated voters that its a good idea to support the big businesses that put their dads tool shop out of business and give them huge tax breaks while the voters might get an extra hundred dollars or so that they can use to send all 4 kids through college.
Less taxes means you get better lives...right and thats why your kid has to wait till the next harry potter movie comes out because his school couldnt teach him to read the books, but he had to walk to the theatres because you are too sick to drive on those torn up roads because you cant afford health care and the state cant afford road repairs. But then he realized he didnt have enough money because you lost your job when a indonesian kid offered to do it 2 cents on the dollar. I'll admit I'm for border security and illegal aliens need to realize that since they are here illegally I shouldnt be expected to treat them equally, but worried about them stealing my job? No, we're going across the pond for that and GIVING them away. |

Heres an opportunity to earn some sanity points back! How is Underworld Evolution connected to Noah Hathaway? (hint IMDB) is a good place to start.
Like I said you win sanity points as you reveal a small portion of the vast amount of random facts that I can call on to make bad jokes and odd commentary. You also get cool or obsessive points for figuring it out or knowing it, respectively.

Thats frickin sweet. you could have a two terrabyte thumb drive...cartridge gaming could make a comeback.
Oh and since I just watched Advent children again heres a review. Scores out of a hundred 100 being a emergency room visit because I just orgasmed my testicles through my urethra
English Voice acting-65%: 50% of this score comes for getting Sephiroth not to sound like an absolute pussy. The rest were decently voiced ( I also liked Vincent a lot), but the sporadic halting lines and Cait Sith's scottish vernacular really hurt. Also I was too lazy to turn off the english subtitles too, so those lines didnt always sync up. I liked some lines better on the subtitles, some lines better from the audio. It was weird
Plot-75% as a Final Fantasy sequel movie, it wasnt half bad, and the new non pirated version I have makes the plot a lot clear, almost too clear. I like figuring out whats going on, and watching pieces fall in to place.
Graphics-90% Oh wow, still. I hadnt watched this movie in like 5 months to make the DVD this good. DVD quality verison of what I already thought was eyegasmally good. The credits are making me freak out a little because I cant tell if its real life with CGI Cloud overlaid, or actually cgi backgrounds. 6 Sword omnislash! If they can make the ps3 games look that good, bye bye halo.
Music-80% I really like the rock style soundtrack they got, mixed with the Final Fantasy 7 music. Some of it doesnt mesh quite right, some of it doesnt go with the story as well as it should, but I am trying to get the soundtrack as of right now.
Average Rating (Voice Acting not being heavily rated) 78% If you like FF7, buy the movie. Even if you hate the story, you will like the music, and seeing the FF7 world so beautifully done. Warning Tifa in high def rendering may cause pants shrinkage.

Well 2 updates from me
My roomate has moved in his fiancee to our dorm room. Fun. They are trying to move out but not as quickly as they said they would. They also are suffering from a massive lack of foresight in the marriage and finacial departments.
I wrote a polite correction to a movie critics review of V for Vendetta, as opposed to the fan boys flame war. She panned the movie, but got some facts wrong. She liked the email and agreed, I sent it to her through her editor and he said he might make some changes to her review without completely changing it. I responded back to her email with some mst3k comments and she has now been adding those to her replys to the hate mail. The conversation is behind the cut as there are spoilers.
( Gmail conversation, again spoilers but only one or 2 major, this was a movie review )
So I'm like a published movie critic but not really.

So my GMAIL account Sir Spam, that I just checked on...has 978 spam messages. 19 of which were from before this year Now if they are telling me the truth they delete messages after 30 days, which means someone is backdating spam... or Google cant find the delete button.
But I havent even been using the account, which is bizzare. I use my REAL account more and have gotten less spam. Wonder if someone else thought it would be funny to make a spam account pseudomeat at gmail doooot com and being thwarted by my quick self invitation, decided to use it anyway.

I am going to complain about Generals to you then go to bed. I love the game, go out and legitimately purchase it!
There is one very frustrating aspect to the game. Your units AI... " hmm it appears to be raining rockets....laddy do" They stand and get whittled by long distance rocket pods There are one or two vehicles with an attack range larger than the units aggro range so the computer just sits there and gets blasted
Then also the stealth units love to be run over, snipers especially you cant see me, you cant see me. Oh crap you cant see me! *thud* This is different than running over mobs with tanks because that is deliberate.
I was china vs the gla: defend for a while, get reinforcements, kick some ass I created hundreds of foot troops to defend. Then when I got reinforcements, I took over one of the gla bases and sent 9 mobs (to create one larger mob) out to destroy another, while building scud swarms to deal with the others The game cut my tech tree for the mission but not the GLAs so I had buildings that just generate cash, and I kept building them Hurrah for 12 MiGs, 4 scud storms, hundreds of soldiers, and an infinite supply of cash
And in other videogame news, when playing Time Crisis 3 I really need to stop laying in the prone sniping postion. It hurts my neck and wrist to stay like that for the 5 hours that I get absorbed by it.

"Inspiring developments -- Democracy is on the march in the Middle East. Yesterday, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians hit the polls for the first time of parliamentary elections in ten years. Which democratically elected party walked away victorious? Oh, it's Hamas! Yes, Hamas the militant Islamic group that is very anti-American and calls for the destruction of Israel, and wants a theocracy in Palestine. Though, on the plus side, they have returned all the money given to them by Jack Abramoff." --Jon Stewart
Well I just got back from Dennys had breakfast as dinner in the morning. Take that timestream! The couple behind me had about a 2 year old that was crying. At first I ignored it as a stereotypical kid crying. Then I realized it was 2:30 am. WTF? Don't bring a little kid out to Denny's at 2:30 AM. Granted a solid sleep schedule is just a parents wet dream at that age but still.
Anyway Peoria Folk, Dennys gives a 10% student discount and also military. The waitress who ran my card thought that our discount should be bigger than the police's who get 20%. I replied "Yeah we're poorer, but they are the ones who get shot at." "Hmm yeah I guess you're right."

So I got Jonathan Ian Mather's cd: Negative Sock Boy, All that was Left. Have only listened to a couple of songs...all I can say is What the hell? First off, he either had a bad studio if any at all or a crappy engineer again if any at all. I know its accoustic but that doesnt mean unedited. His voice is a scratchy hum. Its just him and a guitar. And I cant stop hearing it! It keeps playing back in my, and I really like it What the hell? I can't think of why I do. Maybe its the rawness, maybe the fact that the music is in fact decent and the lyrics aren't shucked out. Maybe my brain is tired of the Disturbed, Slipknot, Rammestein and Korn I have been killing my hearing with. I dont know. S'good tho. Buy it before he runs out.
